By creating an account or using ChalkVB ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

ChalkVB is a volleyball coaching tool that helps coaches log match statistics, generate AI-powered diagnoses, and build practice plans. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis and features may change over time.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

ChalkVB offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through the account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds are issued for partial periods. Prices may change with advance notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes attempting to reverse-engineer the platform, scraping data, abusing AI features in ways that generate excessive costs, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the match statistics, plans, and other content you enter into ChalkVB. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data in order to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. AI-Generated Content

ChalkVB uses AI to generate diagnoses, practice plans, and stat interpretations. This content is provided for informational and coaching support purposes only. It is not a substitute for your own professional judgment. AI outputs may contain errors — always review before acting on them.

8. Intellectual Property

The ChalkVB platform, including its design, code, drill library, and branding, is owned by ChalkVB and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChalkVB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
